Today, UBS utilizes DataSynapse software for seven different grid projects that span 11 grid infrastructures across its global locations. "We employ grid-sharing across UBS' physical locations to enhance performance and also give protection in case of failover. If systems go down in London, the grid will automatically route tasks to resources it can use in New York, improving resiliency," says Kristoff.
