GridServer is currently shipping version 5.1, which was released to general availability in the fourth quarter of 2008. Key updates and enhancements in version 5.1 include:
- Broker Spanning Service, which allows customers to run a single service taking advantage of all Engines on an entire grid
- Support for Single Sign-on to the GridServer GUI
- SpeedLink installer included (SpeedLink may be installed but is priced separately)
- Support for new platforms and compilers
- Non production-critical fixes found in the GridServer 5 SP3 release
- Roll up of all patches released for prior GridServer 5 Service Packs
