DataSynapse Strengthens Sales Force with Strategic Executive Hire and Promotion

Leading Software Company Hires Industry Veteran Mark Milford

and Promotes Christopher Nathan

NEW YORK – August 12, 2008 – DataSynapse, Inc., a world leader in dynamic application service management software for the next-generation data center, today announced that technology veteran Mark Milford joins DataSynapse as Executive Vice President of Global Field Operations. The company also announced the promotion of Christopher Nathan to Managing Director, EMEA and APAC.

DataSynapse has been experiencing significant growth over the past 12 months and looks to these two sales leaders to assist in managing and further accelerating the company’s market presence.

Milford will be instrumental in continuing to build and develop DataSynapse’s worldwide field operations, capitalizing upon strategic partnerships and expanding the strategic partner channels. Nathan will be responsible for managing a growing DataSynapse sales force across EMEA and APAC.

Prior to joining DataSynapse, Milford had more than 30 years experience leading sales teams in selling enterprise software and hardware solutions, and is well known for structuring, leading and growing multi-tiered field organizations. His experience includes serving as senior vice president of worldwide sales and customer support at BakBone Software, vice president worldwide enterprise administration sales at Symantec, as well as other leadership positions at PowerQuest, Computer Associates and Hewlett Packard.

Nathan previously was Director of Sales, EMEA for DataSynapse. Other positions he has held include vice president, sales and general manager, EMEA at Pinnacor, and responsibilities at leading financial services organizations, including Bankers Trust Company and Thomson Financial.
